Echoing the unique architecture the logotype, which is unique to Dundee Science Centre has been created to reflect the striking architecture of the building. With the upper strokes of type, particularly, echoing the sharp angle roofline.

The brand spiral is based on nature – spirals connect the sciences. i.e. the Fibonnaci sequence in nature; in shells, in plants etc. From the very small to the very big in the universe. Spirals in DNA, double-helix, orbits, tornados, galaxies etc all inspired the development of the brand.
